Prayer Book Fluency with Rabbi Kurtz-Lendner

PRAYER BOOK FLUENCY CLASS

Do you know the Hebrew alphabet but still have difficulty pronouncing the prayers? Join us for a class in Prayer Book Fluency. Rabbi Kurtz-Lendner will go through the Hebrew prayers of the Friday night service with you, word by word, line by line, prayer by prayer so you can practice your fluency in the prayers we recite every Friday night. 

You can either obtain a copy of the Mishkan T’filah prayer book(we have a few we can give away), or Rabbi Kurtz-Lendner will send you a link to the free online version that you can view on the web. 

Also, if you do NOT know Hebrew but normally follow along in the transliterations in Mishkan T’filah but still would like to improve your fluency, you can take this class as well and follow along in the transliterations and practice saying the words. 

Classes will be on Tuesdays at 1:00 pm  PST beginning on January 18.
